Teachers vs Open Netball matches
On Wednesday the
25 May 2010 there were 2 very exciting netball matches that
happened on the Open court. The Open B side played against a
teachers team and unfortunately lost : 8---2. We see that
these teachers have put in some practice since last year and
have improved their game. The Open A side then had to take
on another teachers ‘ team commonly known as the Springboks.
Most of this team were this years netball coaches, with a
few imports from other areas of the school: Cindy from the
tuck-shop and a very good shooter from the junior phase.
This teachers’ team beat the open girls 20—4. In the Open
girls defense, one of their key players was injured. Well
done to all those who played so well, especially to the Open
girls who had to endure the teachers!
